Mary Park’s Artist Biography

I was born in untamed Africa which inspired excitement to interpret its beauty in many art forms .I started to paint in oils when I was 8 years old . I took an art course at  McGill University in Quebec for 2 years. I took water colour classes with  a teacher whose speciality was this medium. During my life I have taken many other classes with different teachers, using different mediums. I have organized and run 2 art shows in Coal Harbour and 2 in Costa Rica. I also gave water colour classes in this country. Here in BC this mystical world inspires a spiritual happiness, and entices me to paint all the beautiful birds, animals, scenery and marine life.
