My work, whether in clay or paint, references local flora and fauna, fishes and rusty trucks in combination with self-exploration and world events. Most recently I find myself influenced by the first few lines of the poem “Hope” is the thing with feathers by Emily Dickinson and have been exploring the symbolic use of bird imagery.
I recently completed the diploma program at North Island College in Courtenay and I now work from my studio in Hyde Creek…visit Danielle’s studio – FISHY FISH STUDIO
